One of the things I liked about this book was the detail the author goes into for each battle, while some chapters are longer than others, I was able to grasp the details. As World War 2 is a subject of my interest, naturally, the two chapters in this book I enjoyed the most were the battle of Stalingrad and the Normandy landings, otherwise known as D-Day. Both chapters highlight the importance of these key battles and how they unfolded, and the consequences for the victor and loser of the fight. Rest assured, there will certainly be a chapter for everyone reading this book. Overall, I would give a 4 out of 5, excellently written and easy for the reader to read and grasp. The only thing I wish was different was that the author would go more into detail in some chapters. The chapter on D-Day was over 20 pages, while some chapters were less than 10. This is just a small critique and should not stop you from going out and buying this book if this is a topic that interests you. Remember to subscribe so you never miss a post!
